“Serve one another with whatever gift each of you has received”
I Peter 4:10
Here at Grove, we strive to take the forgiveness borne of Christ’s sacrifice and go out into the world as reflections of his love. Through ministries such as the Good Samaritan Mission, Gate House, Young Life, the Ronald McDonald House and Camp Victory, we engage with our local community in spreading the message of the Gospel. National and international missionary work include events like the CROP walk, work with CEPAD in Nicaragua, and the senior high youth group summer mission trip.
Mission activities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Join the fun when we travel from worship to Camp Victory in our work clothes to help ready this beautiful ministry to children with special health needs
Volunteer in any of the various ministries sponsored by the community’s centralized relief center: coaching and support, intake, furniture, clothing, funds dispensed.
Support Woody Wolfe’s minstrel efforts with chronically ill children as well as his outreach to orphans and
street children in the Ukraine.
Helping to progress the mission of the Ronald McDonald House of Danville, Inc, which offers support for families with ill children.
Providing support for Young Life in its efforts to introduce adolescents to Jesus Christ and help them grow in their faith.
The Gate House House provides shelter and a means to independence for homeless members of our community.
We are committed to ministering to children through support of foster care, Elementary Schools, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Head Start, relief for local kids in need, and adoption ministry with Lifesong.
